Who is behind Kayak+
David Seehausen
trained as a "Kayak Canoe Instructor" with the VDKS (now BV Kanu) in 2011. He is a trained "Swiftwater Rescue Technician" (Rescue 3 International) and leads an annual safety course on white water topics for the German canoe youth together with the Alpine Kayak Club (AKC). He also works irregularly for a canoe school in North Rhine-Westphalia and has already conducted training and further education for the BV Kanu. In the German Canoe Youth, David is the contact person for safety in canoeing and is involved in promoting safety issues in the German Canoe Federation.
In addition to whitewater sports, David also regularly sits in a canoe polo boat and occasionally squeezes into his freestyle kayak.
At Kajak+, he is responsible for the scripts, editing, production planning and moderation.
Jakob Meylahn
has studied film, or rather the "Media Design and Design Technology and Design of Audiovisual Media B.A. with a focus on camera" and is a trained "Canoe Instructor-B" by the German Canoe Federation (DKV).
Jakob is a passionate whitewater paddler, but has also participated in many canoe freestyle competitions in different classes.
At Kajak+, Jakob is particularly responsible for film production including sound as well as post-production with SFX and VFX.
